How good are the “cheap Chinese” fusion splicers, anyhow.
You read a lot of different opinions about the low cost crop of fusion splicers from China that entered the US market about 5 years ago. You here guys say they’re a “peace of shit“ — you hear other guys say they’re “better than the Fujikura 90s that they gave me at work.” What’s somebody who’s considering the purchase of a splicer to make of these comments?
